CAPE PENINSULAR AMAZING RACE

The Cape Peninsular is unquestionably one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Long considered the "Gateway to Africa", Cape Town and its environs offer teams an almost limitless choice of activities amidst a scenic garden that is without parallel anywhere in the world.

This Team Build incorporates cryptic clues in order to navigate teams around the Peninsula and allowing them to partake in fun challenges at various points of interest.

Activities

  • Cape point Nature Reserve:

After taking pictures of the penguins, racers will traverse across the peninsular from the Indian Ocean, past the Cape Point Nature Reserve and to the Atlantic Ocean, This crosses the most Southern Western point of the African Continent. Here we offer teams bonus points. Racers will then navigate to the pristine beach of Scarborough in order to capture an image of Camel Rock.

  • Misty Cliffs to Noordhoek:

Across the Misty Cliffs of the rugged peninsula’s coldest coastline, racers will make their way around the winding hills, through the picturesque horse farming community of the Noordhoek Valley.

  • Noordhoek Beach to Chapman’s Peak Drive:

From Noordhoek, teams drive along the world famous Chapman’s Peak Drive, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Half way along, teams will have the option to gain some valuable points by cycling down the pass in search of the elusive bronze leopard.

  • Hout Bay to Oudekraal:

From Hout Bay, teams head along the Atlantic Seaboard to an exclusive private beach venue hidden among the granite and sandstone cliffs. Here, you will have the option to reward all with a wonderful feast in true South African style whilst we tally up scores, announce winners and provide a prize giving ceremony if requested.

  • Cape Town to Boyes Drive:

Teams will navigate their way from the start point to old Boyes Drive. With a little luck, racers may see the Capes two Oceanic Giants, The Southern White Wale and Great White Shark, swimming along the warm and expansive waters of False Bay.

  • Kalk Bay to Simons Town:

Travelling through Kalk Bay fishing villages, teams will be met with a challenge allowing them to interact with local fisherman in the attempt to catch a bargain; Next stop is Simons Town where teams will need to make a “Nuisance” of themselves in order to advance to the next leg of the race.

  • Boulders Beach:

Teams will head south away from Simons Town. Our little friends in waterproof tuxedos will be waiting with a smile for team members to find them. This stop is a favorite among tourists and locals a like, showing the diversity of the Cape and its wild life with one of the only thriving Penguin populations in Africa.
